Finance Administrative Assistant-Seasonal

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assists the controller in the month-end close process including the preparation and submittal of monthly accruals and journal entries. Coordinates the preparation of financial and non-financial reports. Maintains analytical tools such as MS, Excel models to enable the plant to monitor activities and control operations. Work with purchasers to reconcile open purchase orders Maintain controls to ensure the positing of expenses to the correct period Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures and technical standards. Assists the controller in ensuring adequate control procedures and reporting systems are in place, especially where there is risk of material exposure. Supports the controller in the preparation of financial plans, including annual budgets, quarterly benchmarking, monthly forecasts, weekly scorecards and long-term plans. Will perform a critical role in the lean enterprise strategy of the company (Nestle Continuous Excellence) and will need to engage the production operators in data analysis and production line performance reviews Project Management (Analyze data, make recommendations and assist in the implementation of process improvements) in operations. Knowledge of SAP program All other duties as assigned Key Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or other relevant field or equivalent work experience. Strong computer skills with knowledge of Word and PowerPoint and advanced analysis capabilities utilizing Excel and Access (Advanced Excel preferred) Strong analytical skills Effective written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships Ability to prioritize duties with a sense of urgency Team-oriented, self-motivated, accountable and dedicated to continuous improvement Strong computer skills with knowledge of Word and PowerPoint and advanced analysis capabilities utilizing Excel and Access (Advanced Excel preferred).
