Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities will also include upkeep of our calendar and events, and all program announcements and invitations from the Real Estate Center. Strengthen reputation of Center programs through marketing including website content, social media, printed collateral and coordinate photography. Work with Center staff to maintain and develop contact management system for industry alumni and Center contacts, targeted email campaigns, event invitations and direct social media efforts, on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, among others. Support the Center staff to coordinate all industry-facing events including our biannual Real Estate Conferences for our Real Estate Center Advisory Council donors, and our National Real Estate Case Competition, each with approximately 200 people in attendance. Additional industry networking events take place in Austin, Dallas, Houston and New York annually. Responsibilities include, preparation of program collateral, coordination and ordering of promotional items, creation of branded signage and wayfinding for the events, invitations, nametags and general event oversight. Work with Center Managing Director to maintain Advisory Council/donor membership. Support membership efforts such as new member informational marketing collateral, invoicing, member data tracking, and online directory upkeep. Hire and supervise of part-time student workers; advertisement of open positions, interview and selection, training, schedule creation and maintenance, time sheet approval and daily management and supervision. Undergraduate Real Estate Certificate program support, including student database maintenance, marketing materials outlining curriculum, student organization fair participation, etc. Various activities related to student program support including scholarship tracking and case competition sign-ups and coordination as needed. Licenses: Class C Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident. Marginal/Incidental functions Other related functions as assigned. Required qualifications Experience with graphic design (Adobe InDesign), PowerPoint, email campaigns, social media and website maintenance. Experience in communicating and managing relationships with external constituents. Professional demeanor. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree and three years of clerical or administrative support experience. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the commercial real estate industry. Working conditions May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Some evening hours and travel will be required for programs and events during peak periods. A criminal history background check will be required for finalist(s) under consideration for this position. The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas ( TRS ), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
