Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The VP, Research Servicing Systems is responsible for systems that support Gartner Research & Advisory interactions with clients. These systems enable a high volume of client interactions to be scheduled and conducted in a timely manner while providing an outstanding client experience. Gartner is constantly working to improve the client experience and the successful candidate for this role is expected to both ensure the current systems are operationally sound while at the same time driving innovative technology approaches. You'll Do Manage a software development & support team (~15 people across multiple global geographies) in support of Gartner Research & Advisory fostering an environment of collaboration and high impact resultsResponsible for the oversight and management of the Technology Portfolio in support of the Gartner Research Engagement Services function with in Gartner s Research & Advisory business unit that is accountable for ensuring timely and quality interactions between clients and Gartner research analysts. Work closely with the lead of Gartner Research Engagement Services to define a strategy and associated roadmap to evolve the Research & Advisory client servicing experience.Collaborate / communicate across related areas of Gartner IT and other business units to ensure alignment and leverage shared capabilitiesBe accountable for talent management activities for your team Be accountable for financial management of your team (including 3rd party vendor contracts) Job Requirements 10-12 years experience in a relevant IT field (e.g. software development, service desk implementation). BA/BS in Computer Science or similarly related field. MBA or other related advanced degree desirable. Demonstrated experience in management of technology resources in a dynamic, growth environment. Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of a business strategy enabled by technology in a relevant / related environment (e.g. service desk implementation)Strong demonstrated leadership skills (especially communications, collaboration, people management & influencing skills).
