Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities Provide insight to improve upon the current process, tools and methodology for budgeting, management reporting and forecasting to improve efficiency, accuracy, timeliness and level of support for the business. Review accounting journal entries, payables, allocations, etc. to ensure proper revenue and expenses recognition, and total reconciliation of all forecasted items. Review the accounting treatment to ensure reporting tools provide accurate management reporting. Ensure standardization of the planning process across all countries, business units and departments through coordination with financial accounting, operations, shared services center, and other key business areas within the company. Perform financial analysis and complete reporting packages - as well P&L variance analysis (prior period vs. actuals & budget), margin analysis, write-offs and reserves, headcount and workforce. Identify and assess trends in the environment to evaluate threats/opportunities. Anticipate, quantify and communicate financial risks, opportunities and potential solutions to the rest of the team. Respond to spot FP&A requests, follow-ups and reconciliation as needed in a timely manner Develop processes and procedures to improve the quality of financial analysis. Drive stronger ownership and accountability of results. Job Requirements Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy is crucial. Must be motivated to work independently and complete these responsibilities with little supervision. Experience in creating financial models in Excel is essential. Experience with Business Intelligence systems is highly desirable. Experience working under significant pressure and deadlines and willingness to work when necessary to fulfill responsibilities and meet deadlines is required. Coordinating activities and projects across functional lines and working through issues with a structured approach is required. Must possess a high level of motivation and demonstrated aptitude in problem solving and financial analysis, with a strong attention to detail. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and to communicate orally and in writing is essential. Qualifications BA/BS or equivalent 8 years Finance/ Accounting experience Creative and resourceful problem solver Process mindset & experience High energy level, self-starter Strong communication/presentation skills Strong MS Office suite skills, Excel knowledge essential Able to work under tight deadlines and pressure Fluent in English. Portuguese a plus Experience in performing financial analysis in the software industry, particularly relating to the subscription revenue stream is highly desirable Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies. As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to partner across functions. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA in Accounting/Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.
