Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Essential Duties: Safe operation of diesel powered hydraulic lifting equipment; i.e., forklifts, front-end loaders, tow motors, etc. Safe operation and monitoring of operation equipment. Safely mobilize and demobilize equipment on job sites. Complete paper work flow associated with loading/unloading equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory. Obey all Godwin Pumps and customer safety rules. Maintain communication with dispatch as to whereabouts and estimated arrival/departure times. Assist in the set-up of Godwin pumping equipment as necessary. Available for on-call off-hours driving assignments on a rotating schedule for emergencies. Assist as needed in preparing rental equipment for dispatch and ensuring yard is organized and maintained Minimum Qualifications One to two years experience in the construction industry preferred. One year experience operating Class A commercial vehicles. Experience with flatbed trailers and proper load securement techniques (chaining, strapping, etc.) Valid state issued commercial driver license Current Department of Transportation medical card Physical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
