Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Global Media Team is responsible for the branded media across offline and online channels, with the goal of driving consideration for American Express and our products and services. This position is responsible for leading the operations for the Global Media Team across media, finance, and compliance, in addition to leading key media planning/buying projects with teams across the company. With the ever evolving media landscape, this position ensures we go to market seamlessly and provide the best customer experiences in the marketplace. Key responsibilities Operations Leads the financial management for the Global Media team in partnership with GABM Finance teams Manages weekly team trackers and media lead for monthly/quarterly financial processes (e.g. forecasts, funding decisions, incremental funding asks) Leads tagging management including set up and implementation for US media campaigns Provides support and insight into ongoing efforts to streamline internal processes with GABM, legal, and privacy teams Manages team meetings and agendas Media Planning Supports the media team with planning of traditional and digital media campaigns Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (including media agencies) to execute campaign tactics Helps to manage and execute a campaign throughout the campaign lifecycle Assist with the maintenance of flowcharts, buying guidelines, and budget summaries At least 2 years professional experience in media, marketing or advertising Knowledge of budget management tracking required Knowledge of media planning and buying preferred Analytically minded, logical thinker with problem solving skills Attention to detail is a must Strong communicator and ability to build relationships with various stakeholders, including leadership Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workflows simultaneously Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast paced, constantly evolving team environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office required Passion for media and interest in the dynamic nature of the industry Bachelors degree is requiredEmployment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
