Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Market Development Manager is responsible for developing the next generation of consumables for anatomical pathology. This role will also develop, implement and execute global marketing plans. This includes go-to-market strategies, advertising plans, trade show participation, direct customer communication, marketing collateral for product line. This role is a global (Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas) role supporting the anatomical pathology market place, providing direction to the commercial team. The candidate must be a strong partner to the R&D, Finance, Quality & Regulatory teams. This role reports to the Portfolio Marketing Senior Manager. Create sales and marketing campaigns to grow market share and achieve planned sales and margin Analyzes market data to uncover new insights Ensures voice of the customer into the development of new ideas and products Leverages knowledge of customer needs to create new product ideas Identifies and quantifies the marketplace potential for new products Leads marketing stage gates in the new product development process Manages the development of sales tools and literature Develops and executes global product launches Conducts market analysis to gain market data on sales, the competitive landscape and pricing Monitors sales and market share trends and takes appropriate action to achieve plan Measures effectiveness of marketing campaigns How will you get here? Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Molecular Biology, Research, Marketing or Business Detailed knowledge of marketing within a regulated environment At least 5 years of work experience Experience working in a large, matrixed corporation New product development experience Demonstrated results in developing marketing campaigns that generated growth Proven ability to work effectively on cross-functional project teams Experience developing marketing campaigns for digital platforms Must be a motivated, enthusiastic self-starter able to work effectively in a team environment and independently Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business requires (25%-50%) Masters degree or equivalent in Molecular Biology, Research, Marketing or Business preferred Medical instrument, equipment or consumables commercial experience preferred Multiple geography experience preferred Medical marketing experience preferred.
