Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Description: The Dedicated Lending Associate (DLA) provides direct support in the mortgage application process. The DLA may assist in all aspects of the loan application and pre-application process including; collecting borrower information; consulting a borrower on mortgage options; quoting rates and terms from the system and addressing follow-ups on the application and mortgage processing. The DLA will also manage the mortgage application pipeline to insure key dates are met. DLAs may be asked to assist at realtors open houses, coordinate and distribute marketing materials and follow-up on prospective mortgage customer leads. Responsibilities: Directly assisting in taking and completing borrower applications. Discussing mortgage options and terms with potential applicants. Coordinating and attending open houses and other borrower events. Following up on borrower requirements from processing and underwriting. Pipeline and key date (consent, lock, lock expiration, anticipated closing dates) management. This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (Registry) and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities, to maintain and renew that registration on an annual basis, to update registration information with the Registry on a timely basis, and to provide that unique identifier to consumers as required by applicable SAFE Act regulations and Citi policies and procedures. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Undergraduate degree in Business preferred Minimum 3-5 years Mortgage Lending experience preferred (success in a commissioned environment preferred). FHA/VA and conventional loan origination experience is preferred. Banking experience preferred.
