Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Sizzle Company offers a shuttle to the office from the Metra Station. A plus offices with on-site food services/cafeteria and tons of room for growth. Minimal travel (5-10%) with possibility to work remotely once a week after a few months of employment. Minimum Education & Experience Strong Accounting, Variance analysis, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear manner. Strong project management skills and ability to effectively manage/prioritize multiple work assignments at once. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookup). Proficiency in Hyperion, SAP Financials, and Acorn ABC. Duties & Responsibilities Manage monthly accrual process and work closely with the supported selling organizations. Post journal entries. Conduct variance analysis and resolve all outstanding issues. Manage the reconciliation of the balance sheet, the monthly close/ quarter close process, and the issue of Monthly Dealer Rebate Statements. Review and approve rebate exceptions and accommodation credits as part of key SOX controls. Support compliance with all relevant SOX controls. Lead continuous improvement efforts in financial processes and tools incorporating best practices. Manage people, processes, budgets, performance management, compliance activities, and associate development as required.
