Job Responsibilities and Requirements: As a Marketing Lead, you will support these developers and listen to their feedback. You will act as an advocate for Google technologies and are vocal champions for developer interests within Google. You will be a part of a team that owns the relationships of Google Cloud with millions of developers. Your team works cross functionally across Product Marketing, Developer Advocacy, Events, and Engineering to drive Google s engagement with the global developer community. Google Cloud helps millions of employees and organizations empower their employees, serve their customers, and build what s next for their business all with technology built in the cloud. Our products are engineered for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware. And our teams are dedicated to helping our customers developers, small and large businesses, educational institutions and government agencies see the benefits of our technology come to life. Responsibilities Partner with a range of teams across Google to execute marketing initiatives that bring the Developer Relations narrative to life -- across events, campaigns, and communications. Execute campaigns that drive awareness and excitement for programs throughout the global developer community. Ensure Developer Relations programs across our product areas are impactful. Work with Developer Relations leads to help drive metrics, insights, and surveys from our developer community. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of work experience in strategy, product marketing, and/or developer relations on a consumer product at scale. Preferred qualifications: Experience executing complex global marketing programs. Developed messaging and product marketing background. Experience working closely with product and engineering. An understanding for how developers use our APIs and tools. Developed written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to tell product narratives across slides, written and in-person communication. Self-starter, inquisitive and comfortable with collaborating with many different cross-functional teams. Developed analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
