Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Solutions Sales Engineer/Architect will also play a very critical and influential role working with our Marketing & IT Services Innovation teams helping to identify and co-create new advanced IT service offerings as it relates to Philips Solutions within the healthcare industry. This is a unique sales support role that allows someone who is highly technical and proficient with soft skills, to really succeed. You will be listening to what customers are trying to accomplish and trying to match their needs with the solutions that are available on the market. You will be helping customers find solutions that allow them to deliver better and more accurate care to their patients in an effort to improve outcomes. Your Responsibilities: Assesses client s business, clinical and technical needs and strategies as they pertain to our solution offerings and provide recommendations. Drive & position Philips Solutions and the continuum of services including installation, implementation, consulting/workflow and education services along with post-implementation maintenance and support. Provide a link between product marketing and the sales organization to ensure that products and services are being positioned to maximize customer value. Individual will provide market-in feedback to product development organization based upon customer experiences. Differentiates required tactical services from value-add solutions when proposing solutions to clients. Recommends additional services to add value to the customer s solution offering along with the associated rationale and benefit. Collaborate with sales representative to describe, defend, and justify recommended levels of services. Lead & deliver strategic, technical discussions, via in person, webinar, and/or conference calls Monitor & enter tracking activities via CRM tool (Salesforce). Facilitates between different SME (subject matter experts) and sales to come to a strong solution & services architecture (with optimal efforts). Reach out to procurement experts with regards 3rd party product (solution, contracting) when required. Works with the delivery organizations to transition from the Proposal phase to the engagement delivery phase. Facilitate the introduction of the delivery Project Manager in selected accounts to assure tight teamwork between Solution Architect and Project Manager during handover to delivery (and beyond). Participates in the retrospective project audits to determine opportunities for improvement in the scoping, definition and contracting of professional services. Your Profile Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience: preferably in one of the following disciplines - physical or biological science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or information systems Experience with C-Level and IDNs required Experience with leading account teams and selling to accounts that can produce large sales volumes and/or market share growth preferred 5 years solutions engineering, solution architecture, or solutions consulting experience selling medical technology & solutions, capital equipment sales, healthcare professional services sales, or network infrastructure sales More than 5 years of customer facing experience, preferably in medical equipment sales or presales with a focus on solutions selling Strong IT & HIT knowledge & understanding following technologies: Networking ( Wired & Wireless/802.11), Integrations & Interoperability, Cybersecurity, AWS Cloud, Virtualization, Database & Storage, MS Server Architecture, DR & HA Design Focused IT discipline strongly considered. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or CWNA,VCP, AWS, CISSP, CCSP, ideal Must possess a working/operational knowledge of medical informatics such as HL7 and ADT interfacing, DICOM, clinical/hospital information systems interfacing Must possess the ability to work unsupervised for prolonged periods of time Demonstrated team leadership or willingness/ability to manage advanced projects Exposure or experience in commercial contracting processes Works as part of the Philips sales team to formulate winning strategies as it relates to prospect requirements utilizing Philips methodologies, technical solutions, education, and services. Requires a broad understanding of multiple technology solution areas in healthcare with specialized knowledge in those areas where PCMS products are utilized in the customer environments. In this role, you have the opportunity to Provide technical sales support to our sales and marketing teams across a cross-functional sales team in an effort to increase our market share in a defined group of IDN customers. You will earn the trust of the customer by providing them consultation around the products and services that will allow them to be successful at delivering the meaning of patient care.
