Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This position will also provide direct support to the payroll processing function eventually assuming greater responsibility. Other duties as assigned. Duties and responsibilities may evolve over time. The ideal candidate for this high-visibility role will have a demonstrated ability to: communicate clearly and effectively to a wide variety of audiences; think critically and analytically; perform complex analysis; multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment with often-competing priorities; lead others and promote teamwork. Education and/or Experience: Four year degree in Accounting, Finance or similar required. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered. Experience with client billing in a law firm or other professional services setting required. Experience with accounts receivable and/or collections in a law firm or other professional services setting required. Supervisory experience highly desired. Experience (and proficiency) in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required. Experience with Rippe & Kingston legal accounting software (or a similar accounting system) highly desired. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel.
