Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This individual, under the direction of the Intellectual Property Practice Group Manager, will act as the intermediary between our attorneys, patent agents and clients. This role is critical to the success of our internal processes running smoothly in conjunction with a positive client experience. The following are some of the responsibilities for the Client Liaison, although the responsibilities may change and grow to meet the needs of the IP department: - Liaison between attorneys, agents, and clients; - Manage new application intake from the engagement letter through filing: - Follows up with team regarding above mentioned application intake; - Coordinate and manage missing formals with clients and paralegals - Manage disclosure videos and associated technologies; - Interface with working attorneys to assist in tracking the drafting process; - Assist in preparing for meetings with clients; - Coordinate outside counsel guidelines. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of patent prosecution experience from within a law firm, hold a bachelor s degree (or higher degrees), and be professional in demeanor. This individual will possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, in addition to having a strong attention to detail. This role is best for an individual who does well in a fast paced environment while maintaining their composure and continuing to multi-task effectively.
