Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The successful candidate must be able to focus on the business planning side of events, be an operational leader and day-to-day program manager managing event teams, processes, and budgets in the execution of tactics, activities, and details. Must be a team player working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with sales and cross-functional marketing teams. Responsibilities include: Management of MMBSI event strategy designed to engage top prospects and clients through entertainment, sponsorships and thought leadership. Examine current processes and refine as required to gain more efficiencies Develop and manage planning tools; i.e. budget tracking, project timeline, production schedules, event specs, meeting agendas and notes, post event debrief, etc. that can be used across the team to ensure the successful planning and optimization of our events. Understand MMBSI s brand/product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on brand messaging at events. Manage vendors supporting events to provide effective processes and tactics to deliver on marketing goals and objectives Define and refine metrics and performance targets and connect to business results to drive efficiency, impact and relevance. Evaluate event success through analytical and qualitative assessments. Evaluate and report on best practices to support innovative and fresh approaches/ideas for marketing events. Develop and manage strong cross-line of business partnership with peers to leverage best practices. Travel required (Approximately 25%) Qualifications: Must be an event program planning and execution expert who can understand strategy, take initiative, think outside the box and drive additional value to MMBSI event marketing programs. Must be a strong tactical execution skills and expertise to drive successful events with the highest level of operational excellence. 10 years successfully managing prospect, customer and partner events on a national level. Proven ability to build, lead and manage successful event marketing teams. Ability to articulate and evangelize the vision and direction of event objectives and goals to all levels of the organization. Strong event logistics reporting and budget management skills. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative and analytical. Strong project management skills. Bachelors degree, MBA preferred.
