Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Corporate Responsibility is seeking to fill the role of Associate located in its Washington, D.C. office. The position will be a key member of the Head of Corporate Responsibility s team and CR s senior management team, reporting to the Chief of Staff for Corporate Responsibility who is a member of CR s senior management team. The ideal candidate will leverage her/his experience, knowledge and skills to effectively drive, coordinate and communicate daily and long-term objectives to senior managers, colleagues across CR, and other partners at the firm and will be responsible for a variety of critical areas related to CR s management, operations and overall strategy. S/he will also work closely with the Chief of Staff and Senior Executive Assistant to manage the Head of Corporate Responsibility s schedule, including oversight of travel, public appearances, and other commitments, as well as providing support and leadership on department-wide initiatives, staffing and facilities issues. The Associate will also be responsible for the execution of special internal- and external-facing projects, as assigned by the Chief of Staff and Head of Corporate Responsibility. Key Responsibilities: Track significant initiatives and projects across the department and the firm. Provide project management and coordination assistance to project teams and monitor progress on an ongoing basis to ensure appropriate briefing intervals for the CR senior team and Head of CR and successful project completion. Work proactively to maintain a big picture view of the CR Department and firm to identify opportunities for improved collaboration and coordination within and outside of the Department. Assist the Chief of Staff with the development and distribution of the annual CR Strategic Plan. Assist with management of the CR budget, working with the CR CFO and senior team to meet budget targets. Work with the Chief of Staff and Senior Executive Assistant to manage the Head of Corporate Responsibility s schedule, commitments, and travel; prioritize meeting and speaking requests and coordinate with relevant colleagues on execution. Manage the timely preparation and delivery of briefing materials and remarks for meetings and events, coordinating with the different CR divisions and LOBs as needed; work proactively with marketing and communications in each Line of Business to identify and evaluate internal and external speaking opportunities for the Head of CR. Work with the Chief of Staff to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of written materials. Work with the Chief of Staff to plan CR meetings, including weekly, quarterly, and annual meetings. This includes setting agendas, identifying and inviting speakers, prepping speakers and panels, putting together briefing materials, and ensuring timely follow up on items. Work with colleagues as required to manage special events hosted and/or organized by the Head of Corporate Responsibility, including team dinners, client and other events. Work with CR CFO on office space and other facility-related items. Work with Chief of Staff and HR partners on recruitment, development and training initiatives for CR, including executive presence training, internship programs, manager trainings, mid-year and year-end review process, etc. Bachelor s Degree Required 5-7 years of relevant work experience, preferably including policy and/or government experience Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills; sound judgment and strong collaborative decision-making skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong ability to articulate concepts and strategies effectively Strong organizational skills and project management experience Experience presenting to and communicating with senior management Excellent relationship-building skills High attention to detail; follows through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness Positive self-starter with proactive approach, excellent time management and prioritization skills Mastery of core Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
