Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Helps the Assistant Manager / Manager with the conception, development and gaining of internal and affiliate support for marketing programs for the assigned categories and projects, including a 18 month detailed plan and a 3 year overview. Supports Assistant Manager / Manager in the development with all necessary support groups on assigned categories/projects including: Product Development, Packaging, Design, Creative, Global Communications, Education/Special Events, Marketing Services, and Online. Prepares and/or manages the preparation of necessary paperwork, including but not limited to Innovation portal stage gates, Marketing Work Requests, job starts, creative and copy requests for assigned categories/projects Supports all forums for program development to insure that programs meet Origins strategic and financial objectives for specified segment with analysis Conducts analysis to track Origins (shipments, sell-thru, cost of goods, sku count, pricing and new product forecasts) as well as competitive performance with regard to products, marketing focus and relevancy to the Origins business Liaises regularly with cross-functional teams to insure programs meet objectives, are on time, and that cost and budget guidelines are met Helps facilitating brainstorming/ideation sessions with cross functional teams to surface and gather new, actionable ideas. Prepares the Upfront Planning Process documents, including concept briefs, cost objectives and comparisons, to gain final brand management approval on new product and project recommendations. Helps execute sampling strategy for twice yearly offering, making recommendations, working closely with GBSC, and liaising with markets Attends calls with our regional partners and oversees recaps to ensure all follow-up work is tracked Supports writing and issuing Marketing Bulletins, creative briefs and Turnover Documents for the markets on-time Helps with the preparation of product and pricing information for use by management. Prepares materials for presentation of marketing plans to the all affiliates, i.e. Global and Regional Roundtable meetings Builds collaborative relationship and exhibits excellence in execution 2- 3 years of related marketing experience. Undergraduate degree required. MBA a plus Must possess excellent oral and written communication, creative, analytical, and verbal skills. Demonstrates ownership of programs and exhibit a keen ability to handle a multitude, highly detail-oriented projects at one time and pro-actively follow up Must be flexible, determined and an excellent team player with a positive and helpful manner Must possess the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships with members of cross-functional and affiliate teams Must be responsible, accountable, organized & have the potential to assume increased responsibility Must demonstrate a passion for the cosmetics business an understanding and passion for Origins philosophy and point of difference.
