Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Apartment Community Manager is responsible for all phases of the operation to ensure that the property is maintained in good condition with a profitable operation, which includes, but is not limited to, overseeing and coordinating the maintenance of the property, marketing and leasing of apartments, directing personnel, and general administration. Responsibilities include hiring, supervising, and training on-site employees; preparing reports; marketing apartments; preparing and signing lease paperwork and related forms; adhering to company accounting practices; working within the established budget; ensuring resident satisfaction; adhering to all maintenance and purchasing directives along with other duties as assigned. The Apartment Site Manager should have knowledge of financial matters, a mechanical inclination, an outgoing and agreeable personality, common sense and judgment and the ability to solve resident, personnel and financial problems. CPM (Certified Property Manager) or CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) certifications are preferred. Bachelor s degree in marketing, general business, or related field is required. Minimum of three years of experience in the multi-family apartment industry is required.
