Job Responsibilities and Requirements: 1. Manages the activities of the sales force and ensures familiarity and training regarding markets, products, services, selling skills, etc.2. Directs the development of and maintains an effective sales force through creation and implementation of effective strategies for recruiting, hiring, training, motivating and coaching team members.3. Formulates a sound business plan to provide acceptable sales growth in accordance with established plan and market share targets. Works with Director to meet profitability goals.4. Coordinates key activities to insure service and profitability.5. Participates in the selling of entire Tyco IS product line.6. Works with Director, Managers and local sales forces by implementing sales strategies for assigned accounts.7. Assists Director/Corporate in developing programs including vertical markets, customer retention, and new product offerings.8. Tracks sales activity and provides sales team with regular feedback & coaching regarding performance. 9. Conducts regular sales meetings, communicating current sales policies and procedures, techniques, pricing, demonstration of equipment, new products and services, sales promotions and advertising.10. Participates in trade shows What we look for: Education: College Degree in Sales/Marketing or other related preferred Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of commercial sales experience including three (3) years of major accounts sales and two (2) years sales management. Proven sales ability with high-level Corporate contacts. Skills: Entrepreneurial attitude, leadership ability and ability to be a team player at all levels. Ability to comprehend and make valid contribution developing a business plan, including sales and marketing strategies. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
