Job Responsibilities and Requirements: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Draft, review, negotiate and interpret a variety of agreements, including product, licenses, music, talent, social media influencer and sponsorship agreements Ensure that agreements are concluded quickly and accurately and that they meet clients' specifications, fulfill Company needs, and conform to appropriate industry standards. Creative asset review, including marketing, website and product designs Perform legal research on various issues of U.S. and international trademark and copyright law Trademark clearances Gather evidence for trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings Assist with due diligence audits, including those related to license agreements Monitor changes in applicable laws and communicate with relevant business people to keep them abreast of developments Other contract and intellectual property work, as assigned. THE ACCOMPLISHED INDIVIDUAL WILL POSSESS . . . Juris Doctorate Admission and member in good standing of the bar of New York 5-7 years' experience in intellectual propertyin a high-quality law firm, in-house legal position or both 3-5 years' experience in contract drafting and negotiation, IP-related issues preferred Sound judgment and ability to assess issues and risk AN OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL WILL HAVE . . . Strong business acumen and responsive, service-oriented attitude Ability to manage projects, prioritize work, multi-taskand respond to shifting priorities.
