Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Senior Finance Project Analyst will provide analytical and administrative support, coordinate activities, and track progress and results of projects and initiatives. Participate in business process analyses of Finance functional areas to improve quality of service and achieve efficiencies. Develop recommendations for improvements and provide change management support. Explore quality control deficiency issues to identify root causes and develop steps for sustainable remediation. Manage rent and real estate related payment processing and interpret real estate leases; create real estate spend reporting and analytics. Support the development, reporting, and analysis of annual capital budgets. Finance Department staffing administration, including assistance in the preparation of the departmental headcount budget, monitor Finance headcount levels, and maintain organization charts. Facilitation of Finance records inventory and retention processes, as well as administration of data management security. Administration and maintenance of internal policies and procedures for the Finance department. Administration of Firm banking authorities. Collaborate with Finance functional areas to facilitate continuous improvement of financial reporting and information delivery methods. Perform special projects as requested. Qualifications & Requirements An ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of eight years of experience in a law/firm/professional services firm. Experience with a Big 4 or other National CPA firm and project management experience is preferred. This individual should be proactive, results oriented, and have the ability to communicate with personnel at all levels. A collaborative style and a strong customer service orientation are required. The candidate needs to be a critical thinker who possesses a high level of intellectual curiosity, while at the same time is comfortable navigating the details involved with the function and its responsibilities. Given the variety of projects this individual will be exposed to, the ability to learn new concepts quickly and to develop creative solutions/alternatives to issues/questions is critical. Advanced skills in mining financial information from a variety of financial and business systems, interpreting this date, and converting into analytics are essential. Technologies/Software Advanced MS Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint presentation skills are necessary.
