Job Responsibilities and Requirements: 1. Drives net sales by developing and executing a sales strategy for the region that is fully integrated with the Perdue Foods strategic plan. 2. Professionally represent Perdue Foods, LLC to all customers within the Region while upholding the company s core values of Quality, Integrity, Teamwork, and Stewardship. 3. Ability to penetrate and successfully influence decision makers at national and regional customers in territory 4. Maintains high level of product knowledge, sales skills, presentation skills, and time management 5. Comfortable with the use of syndicated, category, and shopper data as a central component of the Sales process. 6. Selects, trains, and establishes goals and accountabilities, for the broker network. 7. Utilizes the Trade Promotions Management system to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. 8. Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Planning, Trade Marketing and Customer Service to ensure that established goals are met and Customer Service expectations are exceeded. 9. Candidate will reside in Central or Western U.S. (location flexible). Required Education Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field plus 10 years of relevant Sales experience, preferably Supermarket Deli, Prepared Foods/Foodservice, Perishable Foods/Protein. Requires strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills. Must have experience managing brokers. Must be able and willing to travel overnight to customer/vendor locations and/or plant locations. PREFERRED : Sales Management experience in the Retail Deli/Prepared Foods Channel, in the Central/Western US Region. Fresh, Prepared Foods, Deli, Natural Foods, Perishable Foods, Fresh CPG sales experience preferred.
