Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Role:Work under general supervision to monitor, analyze, and detect Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks. Assist with integrated, dynamic Cyber defense. Coordinate and maintain security toolsets to support organizations continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization programs. Basic Qualifications:-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint-Knowledge of security principles, approaches, and technologies-Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team-Ability to obtain a security clearance-Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree in Winter 2017 or Spring 2018 Additional Qualifications:-Experience with Java, C#, .Net, or SharePoint development in an academic or professional environment-Experience with Web development concepts, including HTML and JavaScript-Experience with information security program frameworks, including ISO 27001/2, COBIT, or NIST-Experience with computer vision or image processing coursework-Experience with the design and development of an object-oriented system-Experience with UNIX or Linux-Knowledge of systems development life cycle methodologies and associated activities-Knowledge of databases, SQL, or Oracle-Ability to synthesize and analyze multiple views and data sets-Ability to be self-motivated-Ability to multi-task with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment-Possession of excellent time management and organizational skills-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills-Security , CISSP, CISA, or related certifications.
