Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The team primarily invests in proprietary strategies to provide customized, cross-asset class solutions to meet the investment management needs of institutional and retail clients. The client portfolio manager (CPM) role is a critical position for the MAS business. MAS manages more than $200 billion globally across a variety of multi-asset class investment solutions for all different types of investors. The CPM will is a key member of the team and expected to articulate the teams views, positions and performance. Areas of focus will be supporting the teams current and prospective pension clients. Ideal candidates will have at least 5-7 years of experience in asset management and/or working with pension plans. Clear communication skills and a high degree of attention to detail are critical. Your responsibilities will include: Helping to further develop our messaging and capability across the pension landscape. Work with senior CPMs to support our pension clients and prospects with insights on liability aware portfolio construction and management. Work in a collaborative fashion with our institutional sales function. Work with technology and portfolio management to further fine tune our support of pension clients. Some travel will be required. The environment is fast-paced and demanding. Flexibility and teamwork across various different teams within and outside the product group is required. All candidates must have a minimum of 5-7years experience working within a fixed income function or directly with pension plans. Strong analytical skills and an understanding of the pension landscape. Experience with multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income and real estate Strong cross-functional team building and management skills (for example, partnering with multiple distribution channels, marketing, product administration, legal and compliance) MBA, CFA and/or CAIA desirable.
