Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities Ability to work alone. Self-motivated. Can be supervised. May lead inspection staff in oversight duties. Review staff diaries and back check quantities. Daily interaction with contractor foreman and supervisors. Read and interpret project plans and specifications, monitor and document contractor activities for compliance with project documents. On site material soils, concrete, asphaltic concrete sampling & testing. Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures Talent is the essence of meeting our client s objectives, goals and challenges. Job Requirements Experience Required: Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-9 years of experience with construction activities and or experience in the construction trades or education related to civil design and or construction classes. Preferred candidates will possess experience with TxDOT policies and procedures, has or can receive relevant certification with American Concrete Institute (ACI), National Institute for Certification of Engineering Technologies (NICET), Arizona Technical Testing Institute (ATTI), or equivalent. Education Required: Ability to read construction plans, knowledge of construction materials, and a good driving record. Candidates has obtained or can obtain certifications in American Concrete Institute (ACI) Grade 1. Knowledge of Texas DOT Site Manager document procedures for daily work reports, material testing and quantity inputs.
