Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Major Responsibilities: -Develop and maintain the Area strategic sales plan -Provide regular reporting on strategic accounts and new business updates -Conduct Segmentation analysis -Manage territory alignment, quota development -Constantly maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape -Manage and communicate corporate sales initiatives -Develop Lease Sales Representatives and Rental Sales Representatives through coaching and training -Train new associates on the sales process -Other projects and tasks as assigned by the VP -At least 6-8 years of sales and sales management experience required, with service and transportation industry preferred -Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or related area required -Accountability to manage a sales team required -Knowledge of Penske products and pricing required -Knowledge of Penske processes required -Ability to work independently, deal with people, detail orientation, prioritization skills, and organizational skills are required -Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required -Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. -Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
