Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Role Summary: The Sr. Network Security Architect will provide direction & execution on BHGE s global network security and Brilliant Factory support work. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and possess broad technical skills with the ability to implement security changes across a large organization. Essential Responsibilities: Define strategy and technology roadmap for Network Security Architecture, assess, and deliver technical solution for BHGE s Brilliant Factory initiative Provide technical and full end to end project management aligned to roadmap Lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and be a recognized expert in Network Security Act as liaison between the business and Corporate for Network Security initiatives Execute and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Evaluate new threats, solutions and the impact on IT and Business operations Work with customers and operations teams to define repeatable reference network security architectures Determine network security requirements and prepare cost estimates by evaluating business strategies and requirements Conducting system security and risk assessments, identifying security gaps and implementing enhancements Plan and coordinate the implementation of network security systems by working closely with cross-functional teams Preparing preventive and reactive measures, providing technical support and completing documentation Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering Minimum of 7 years of information technology experience Minimum of 4 years of information security experienceEligibility Requirements Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% as required Desired Characteristics: Familiarity with NIST SP 800-82, ICS-CIRT guidelines, SCADA control systems, SCADA firewalls' configuration Familiarity with DoE, NIST, & ISO security requirements Experience with secure network architectures, identity and access management principles, application security, encryption technologies, DNS, SOA, database and web applications Experience with ethical hacking, firewall and intrusion detection / prevention technologies, secure coding practices and threat modeling Broad background in the following areas: computer / OS security, network security, hardware security, firmware security, and embedded platform security CISCO and/or Palo Alto Network certification Familiar with Palo Alto and/or CISCO Network infrastructure device (routers, switches, firewall) CISSP or CISM certified Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Proven ability to deliver while under tight timelines Demonstrated ability to proactively analyze and solve complex problems. Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written Previous experience delivering presentations, in particular to senior leadership audience Proven ability to persuade and influence outcomes.
