What you get to do in this role:As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be a key member of the Cloud Platform Development group working on the Interfaces team. This team is responsible for reliably processing all web requests that arrive on the platform. With a massive active user base, this is a really fun and hard problem Come help us build the tech that will drive the future of our scalable web transaction processing. In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:12 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise softwareExcellent understanding of object-oriented programmingExpertise in writing Java code and working knowledge of JavaScriptExpertise with Java threading modelsExpertise in performance tuning Java applicationsExperience with Tomcat & servlet containersExperience with a variety of web technologies such as WebSockets, HTTP2, REST, SOAP, etcExperience managing high throughput and reliability of very large datasets a plusFamiliarity with an Agile development environmentAbility to troubleshoot and debug, under pressure, critical customer issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skills We provide competitive compensation, generous benefits and a professional atmosphere.
