Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Major Accountabilities: Securities TransactionsPerform data entry to the Collateral Management System for all pledged securities. Process all daily trade transactions in a timely and accurate manner. Accounting Reconcile prior day customer and general ledger transactions to files received from custodian. Reconcile monthly Holdings reports. Reconcile and process monthly billings for all customers.Process daily securities pricing and factor updates. Produce monthly activity reports.Data Integrity Review daily audit reports to ensure validity of transactions. Ensure that daily files from custodian have been loaded to the database prior to daily reporting. Develop and document procedural controls. Provide analytical support as needed for problem resolution, system changes, and/or procedural changes. Cash Management Analyze daily transactions and determine funds to be wired in or out of the Banks account at to ensure that the Bank maintains appropriate funding level.Systems Administration Assist in development of technical specifications as needed. Liaison between department staff and systems support staff as problems arise. Disaster RecoveryResponsible for the development and maintenance of the department s disaster recovery plan. Review and update plans on an annual basis or as needs change. Coordinate with Disaster Recovery Task Force to integrate departmental plans with Bankwide strategic plan.Department Functions Provide assistance as needed for all Securities Operations functions. REQUIREMENTS: College degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting fields or a minimum of 3 years of securities related work experience.Ability to work independently and meet intra-day deadlines.Ability to sustain a high degree of accuracy while understanding risk implications and maintaining necessary controls.Strong administrative and organizational skills to facilitate the workflow while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and control.Broad working knowledge of securities, securities laws, securities processing, data processing, accounting, and customer service.Extensive experience with data processing concepts and securities systems. Experience in PC and LAN environment is essential.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.Intermediate to advanced excel skills preferred.Experience with data analysis a plus.
