Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Gather and define client project requirements Provide design recommendations per facility standards and requirements Review space plans and provide comments Review Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and Structural construction documents to verify conformance with established codes and standards Perform construction administration activities with occupants, pre-construction space preparation and walk-through Assist in daily monitoring of construction projects Conduct competitive process, develop statement of work construction documents, and obtain bids/proposals/cost estimates for tenant work orders and construction projects Assign projects to contractors or engineering departments, as needed Manage and schedule construction projects, including pricing, estimating costs and processing TWO (Tenant Work Order's) Track and process TWO including issuing purchase orders and engineering service requests Review tenant construction projects to ensure compliance with building standards and to ensure that work meets tenant satisfaction Comprehend contract documents, submittal, cut sheets, and coordination drawings for the specific areas and/or subcontractors under supervision Provide direction and guidance to engineering staff to ensure timely completion of TWO Provide written and oral status reports of TWO to property management and tenants representatives Ensure timely billing of TWO Maintain and distribute weekly update of TWO Tracking Log Conduct base building site inspections and coordinate repairs, as required Review the contract scopes of work and ensure that subcontractors are performing the work in compliance with requirements Review the master schedule and utilize this as a basis to develop and maintain a short-term progress schedule; monitor subcontractor compliance Perform daily safety inspections to ensure a safe work environment and all personnel are using the necessary personnel protection devices for their associated tasks/trade Establish effective working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members Qualifications The Project Management Liaison shall possess the following minimum qualifications: Associates Degree in construction related field, or equivalent experience required Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years construction management experience Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work as required Knowledge of architectural, engineering, and building systems Proficiency with Microsoft office to include Word, Excel, and MS Project Proficiency with Microstation and AutoCAD Ability to plan, organize and meet project deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Coordinate with staff to ensure timely completion of work requests Must be available to work flexible hours when needed EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled.
