Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities Tracks, monitors and actively pursues collection of unpaid invoices for the Firm's multiple locations. Works closely with billing attorneys in order to determine best course of action on a delinquent client account. Reviews the status of delinquent accounts and contacts clients and/or billing attorney regarding outstanding balances. Constantly reconciles delinquent client accounts to insure client maintains agreed upon payment schedules. Handles AR inquiries, researches discrepancies and provides printed snapshots of account activity to billing attorney and/or client as needed. Processes credit card payments over phone and applies to client balance. Answers Firm's Accounts Receivable phone line as needed, provides callers with pay history and account balances. If necessary, refers client complaints to Accounts Receivable Manager. Periodically analyzes assigned attorney's books of business to recognize potential collection issues. Coordinate the preparation of required analysis of billed and collected fees of individual clients. Scans related AR documents into CMS as needed. Performs additional duties as assigned. Follows all Firm established accounting policies and procedures. Requirements Accountable - Owns mistakes and takes corrective action. Meets work deadlines as assigned.
