Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This critical construction management role is to represent our client in overseeing and leading the entire construction program including the construction contractor(s). The position is critical and requires strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent leadership qualities with the ability represent WSP dealing directly with the client, the construction contractors, the designer of record and outside agencies having jurisdiction. Responsibilities include: Management of the construction contractors performance in accordance with the contract documents Coordination and oversight of all construction activities Management of scope, schedule and cost Management if the change order process on behalf of the client Construction progress reporting Leading issue resolution Overall direction to the construction management and inspection team Driving cooperative relations between all stakeholders Job Requirements Experience Required: Candidates should possess 15 to 20 years minimum experience in engineering and construction management with a focus on water/wastewater facilities Proven successful experience with the NYCDEP preferred Successful candidates must work both independently and within a team environment with the capability to delegate and supervise tasks to support staff. Strong writing skills to support technical reporting as well as oral communication skills are required Proficiency with MS Office including Access and Outlook preferred. Education Required: BSCE, NY PE or ability to obtain NY PE and ability to work in this country immediately required.
