Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This role will be expected to work in close partnership with other Line of Business or Function Central Quality Control and Testing teams to ensure a best in class Quality Control and Centralized Testing model. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Manage staff responsible for Quality Control reviews of RCSA related data and adherence to standards Ensure appropriate cross training of team members to ensure appropriate coverage at all times Develop Quality Control testing program and methodology Establish reporting to track Quality Control testing progress and present testing results to management Establish an appropriate mechanism or forum for highlighting areas of non-compliance with procedures or standards Educate staff on improving overall compliance to standards and drive improvement of testing results Develop a methodology and tool for storage of all work products Undertake ongoing consistency checks that highlight outliers Instill consistent application of RCSA related criteria across the AM business Manage relationships with internal partners such as Operational Risk, Audit, Compliance, and Legal Maintain excellent working knowledge of audit, risk, and operational risk management concepts, as well as the ability to understand and interpret the impact of decisions and identify potential problem areas Help design and communicate necessary system enhancements to management and / or technology 5-7 years controls testing/ controls management, operational risk, audit or Big 4/ consulting experience 3 years of experience managing staff resources Strong communication and project management skills; experience driving complex projects to a wide variety of stakeholders Careful attention to detail, with keen ability to quality check own work and the work of others Strong collaboration, partnership, and influencing skills Flexible, with the ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment Creative problem solving skills - ability to approach an issue/initiative with an innovative yet pragmatic, commercially reasonable approach to achieve desired outcomes Knowledge/experience within the asset management industry - products and services offered, distribution channels and asset classes (fixed income, equities, derivatives) would be preferred Experience with Risk Control & Self-Assessment processes preferred Possess a sense of urgency and resourcefulness with strong ability to anticipate issues and a passion for driving best practices Ability to directly address/identify conflict and obstacles and escalate as appropriate Bachelors degree required.
