Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities : Development / Diagnostics: Expert knowledge of Bash/SH shell scripting. Expert knowledge of Ruby or Python. Experience using debugging tools (gdb, strace, lsof, ltrace). Experience with Source Control Systems (git in particular). UNIX/Linux System Administration. Expert knowledge of RedHat based package management systems, including SPEC design and GPG signed RPM builds. Broad experience with Linux (CentOS, SlackWare, Gentoo, Ubuntu, etc). Experience building applications from source. Virtualization: Experience with building highly scalable, redundant, monitoring infrastructure utilizing RHEV/or OpenStack, and/or AWS. Any experience working with OpenStack(Kilo/Liberty/Mitaka). Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Cloudfront) or similar. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes. Experience with RHEV. Infrastructure Intelligence: Sensu monitoring framework. Icinga Monitoring Framework. Graphite/InfluxDB/OpenTSDB Metrics framework. Splunk ELK (ElasticSearch Logstash Kibana) logging framework. Datadog / NewRelic experience a plus. Experience with Nagios or Nagios fork platforms a plus. Networking: knowledge of layer2/3 switching, VLAN, VXLAN, inter-VLAN routing, LACP, Etherchannel. knowledge of BIND DNS(nsupdate, dnssec, stubs, delegation). knowledge of sub-netting, nat-ing, and p-nats. Experience with AAA methods; FreeIPA. LDAP, AD, PAM, SSH, Kerberos, Radius, Ipsilon(SAML). Experience with load-balancing(local/global), specifically with Citrix Netscalers. Experience with Cisco's UCS product line (B/C-series hardware, Fabric Interconnects). Experience with Oracle VM 3.x Virtualization platform. Working knowledge of multi-layer firewalls. Automation / Continuous Integration: Experience with automated integration tools such as Jenkins, CruiseControl, Rundeck, or BuildBot. Experience with Unit Testing and automation techniques around it. General understanding of Static Code Analysis tools (e.g. RATS). Puppet, PuppetDB. Ansible. Leadership: -Experience managing small teams (5-10). -Experience with project management a plus. -Strong interpersonal skills a must.
