Job Responsibilities and Requirements: SUMMARY OF DUTIES: We are looking for a collaborative and creative individual with a strong background and experience in social content development. This person will report directly to the Director, Digital Media and will be responsible for developing unique and engaging social content for 's social channels and blog, managing the social editorial calendar, and collaborating across the organization to identify content opportunities. This position works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to recommend and execute content development aligned with social and corporate strategies and goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Works with internal and external resources to develop creative, innovative and engaging content to be leveraged on social media. Manages social content budget. Manages relationships with internal and external content creators. Owns weekly social editorial meeting along with master social editorial calendar. Acts as quality control for all content published on social. Provides feedback on content developed both internally and externally aligned with brand and industry best practices. Proven ability to write both short-form social post copy and long-form blog content. Regularly meets with key stakeholders to make content recommendations, understand strategic direction and seek social integration opportunities. Collaborates with Paid/Listening Social Lead to leverage data in content development. Assists in managing social channels during crisis situations. WORK EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated social media experience. PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE: Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/Premiere). Experience using social media management platforms. Demonstrated knowledge of key social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Experience working with agencies and freelancers for content development. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Marketing is preferred. COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
