Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Roles and Responsibilities: Develops business plans and positioning of cutting edge products in the marketplace. Product lines managed are considered critical to the overall success of the company. This position possesses a unique mastery of leading edge technologies, relevant disciplines, theories, or techniques within the organization. Using broad expertise and unique knowledge, this position contributes to the development of AT&T objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Accountable for revenue attainment and profitability. Viewed as product owner within AT&T throughout the life cycle of product. The Director Product Marketing conducts multi-year product planning to determine and execute product life-cycle decisions. Ensures and monitors product consistency for alignment with the overall marketing and corporate strategy. Oversees the product performance, revenue, market share, penetration, and profitability objectives to determine and recommend product marketing strategy expenditures. Education: Bachelors or advanced degree preferred. Experience: Product Development and Portfolio Management experience required. Typically requires 10 or more years of experience. Supervisory: No. Required Qualifications: 6-8 years experience in Product Development and/or Program Management 3-6 years experience managing teams, preferably comprising diverse disciplines including marketing, design and technical resources At least 3 years experience leading design efforts utilizing 3rd party suppliers with demonstrable short-term and long-term results Strong knowledge in technical requirements and system architecture Strong people management, coaching and counseling skills Strong finance skills and experience managing budget and portfolio Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Superior written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal and negotiation skills Desired Qualifications: Excellent understanding and experience in driving a highly complex, creative business. A highly-inquisitive and analytical mind which promotes the ability to be flexible and creative in order to identify potential product and business opportunities. Work comfortably within an analytical and cross-matrix framework, routinely isolating key issues, effectively communicating those issues and arriving at appropriate solutions with all constituents. Perform as a dedicated team player, capable of operating effectively with a minimum of direction, and enjoy significant operational interaction with senior corporate executives. Comfortable rolling up their sleeves and participating at a tactical level when necessary. SAFe certified or worked in Agile methodology Possess impeccable standards of ethical and moral conduct.
