Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The VP of Sales Operations is a critical link between company strategy and execution of sales force productivity. He or she manages essential functions including planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales policy governance, headcount management, and sales compensation design and implementation. The VP, Sales Operations is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization including designing, tracking and communicating key metrics. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, the VP fosters close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization s efficient operation and success. The VP of Sales Operations will build, evangelize, and deliver a world-class sales operations function to support our sales team to further accelerate our growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design and implement key metrics to define optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success. Aligns reporting, training, and incentive programs with performance management priorities. Provides thought leadership to the sales organization and counsel to the CSO. Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization consistent with other processes at Paycor. Responsible for equitably assigning sales force quotas and ensuring Paycor s financial objectives are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources. Partners with senior sales leadership to identify and successfully implement opportunities for sales process improvement. Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement. Prioritizes investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity. Works closely with the CSO and CTO to understand sales and technology strategy. Recommends changes and enhancements to the CRM technology platform. Ensures sales reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the sales organization. Coordinates with sales leadership to lead efficient and accurate reporting initiatives. Develops new reporting tools as needed. Works closely with Accounting, Finance, and HR to establish and oversee the administration of sales compensation program and rules, policies, and procedures. Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 10 years of prior sales operations, business planning, or sales support management roles Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives 4-year business degree, MBA preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High ethical standards and have evidence of working collaboratively in a cross functional business Demonstrated proficiency and consistency in Paycor sales processes, practices, and policies Ability to collaborate; effectively working across multiple levels, roles, and functions in the organization.
