Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines Understanding of architecture and design across all systems Working proficiency in developmental toolsets Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement Responsible for enhancing, implementing, and configuration of vendor tax management software for the firm Collaborate with Vendor and JPMC internal technology teams In the future the application will be developed and managed in house Partner with business stakeholders in Corporate Tax organization to understand business requirements and ensure alignment of technology to business Work with stakeholders on delivery status updates, establishing prioritization, and issue escalation Constant drive towards innovation, resiliency, and performance improvements of the applications Partner with other technology teams, business users, and cyber security teams to ensure appropriate controls & security Become a Subject Matter Expert for 3rd party solutions encompassing Forms and Reporting Work with Vendor partners for implementation of packaged solution Qualifications Strong technologist with broad experience implementing technology solutions 5 years of overall technology industry experience with an emphasis on technology delivery & project management Broad Information Technology experience, including understanding of development tools, processes, and best practices of application delivery and project execution Demonstrated initiative and creativity; strategic thinker with proven analytical abilities Ability to work in a fast paced environment and have good communication skills Proven ability to communicate with all levels, influence others, inspire/motivate the team, and solve problems/remove obstacles in a timely manner Proven experience in Vendor engagement and management Experience with Lotus Notes, Sharepoint, .NET, SQL Server Experience with MS SQL Server, stored procedures, and SQL queries Experience in delivering custom build solutions, implementing vendor packages and integration Experience with Corporate Tax domain Experience with any of the Tax solutions would be plus - Custom build Indirect Tax solutions or packaged solutions like VERTEX, Thompson Reuters, etc. Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures Experience in an agile environment is a plus Experience with cloud services is a plus Experience in packaging with tools Application Virtualization Sequencer or Admin Studio (Flexera) is a plus Experience in Outlook Plugin development and deployment is a plus.
