Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This role will develop business opportunities through direct selling and telemarketing efforts and are responsible for in-house client requests related to meetings and group activities. Selling and servicing short term group business and ensuring all aspects of the operation are informed to provide the best possible customer service to attendees. You will facilitate tasks or requests, such as; ensure group boxes are in place, room set ups are correct, audio visual is in place, etc and assist in coordinating all details while group is in house. Promote team work and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments and coordinate details with other departments such as VIP amenities, special requests, or other service needs or special handling. You may perform other duties as assigned. Requirements include some College plus 1-2 years sales or marketing related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience and a related degree is preferred. Prior hotel sales experience is also preferred. You must be able to travel to attend workshops, tradeshows, conventions, etc. and may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
