Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The IT Contract Manager is responsible for the entire IT contract life-cycle, including on-going vendor relationship management, for medium to large-sized vendors of IT hardware, software, and services. Understands the needs of business and IT partners to maximize performance, and builds effective working relationships with key business and IT stakeholders. Motivates and persuades others toward increased performance in pursuit of common goals. Skilled in contract sourcing including the development of RFIs, RFQs, RFPs; evaluations, negotiations, selections Skilled in contract administration and risk management. Sound knowledge of all contract terms and conditions, and understands which terms are required and what contract language is acceptable Strong negotiation skills. Activity participates in contract negotiations in partnership with sr. management Responsible for on-going contract performance management to ensure that vendors meet their contractual commitments (T&Cs, SOWs, governance/change management) Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is requiredCPM, CPSM, or other related certifications strongly preferred ExperienceMinimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of progressive, relevant procurement, vendor management, and information technology experience Technical SkillsResponsible for the entire IT contract life-cycle for the largest, most complex, and highest risk enterprise vendors of IT hardware, software, and services. (Contract, Performance, Relationship Management) Highly skilled in contract sourcing including the development of RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, TSAs, NDAs; also, has deep experience developing Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs). High level negotiation skills; facilitates and leads complex contract negotiations in partnership with all levels of management. (Strategy, Forecasting, Financial Modeling, Risk Management, Compliance). General Skills Ability to apply business knowledge to develop and deliver innovative, value-added improvements Excellent oral and written communication skills Has interpersonal savvy and excellent listening skills. Skilled in communicating technical topics to non-technical audiences Effective in creating and delivering presentations to staff and customers Skilled at working with and influencing teams to accomplish business objectives Promotes a collaborative environment where others are comfortable discussing ideas and issues Proven ability to operate and effectively communicate while under pressure; as well as the ability to manage a diverse workload and work under time constraints with minimal supervision Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities concurrently Able to lead teams of non-direct reports and mentor other members of department staff Exhibits a results-driven attitude and promotes same in all teaming and individual activities.About Weyerhaeuser We sustainably manage forests and manufacture products that make the world a better place.
