Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Position Overview: This person will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure, and other cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms. This person will be responsible for designing, planning and migrating cloud based workloads, as well as migrating existing virtualization and physical server workloads to Microsoft Azure. This would include Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service, Microsoft Azure data storage and other cloud based products. This person should be able to integrate with on-premises systems including Microsoft System Center and VMWARE Virtual Center to plan and design cloud based services. This person should be able to successfully plan extending virtual networks, and connectivity into cloud services following security best practices. This person would be responsible for leading projects within customer sites on a daily basis, interacting directly with customers as needed, including project and resource management. Required Qualifications: 5 years of experience with Active Directory 5 years system virtualization experience (VMWARE, Hyper V, XenServer) 5 years of system management tools (SCCM, etc.) 5 years of Windows server platform management 1 year of cloud based Infrastructure-as-a-Service (Amazon EC2, Azure IaaS) Bachelor s Degree Required Optional Qualifications: 1 years of Azure Infrastructure as a Service platform Experience with Azure Site Recovery (ASR), and other Azure services Experience with Single Sign On platforms (Ping, Azure AD, Okta, etc.) Experience with networking and firewall configuration Experience with image deployment and migrations 2 years of Linux - especially Oracle Linux, SUSE, or Ubuntu General consulting skills including: analysis and problem solving, written and verbal communication, and team collaboration Travel: Regular and expeditious travel throughout the United States and occasionally overseas is required to meet client needs and timetables Available to be stationed at and work from an out-of-town client site for an extended period of time If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply for a job at Hitachi, please send the nature of request and contact information.
