Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Credit Analyst 3 position will manage a large portfolio of diverse, complex Business Banking loans. The CA3 is responsible for analyzing complex companies and industries with annual revenues ranging from $5mm-20mm and conducting presentations on findings to leadership. Functions include: conducting complex credit investigations and analyzing diverse credit information for loans; analyzing/formalizing documentation of loan transactions and/or credit history of customers; assisting in preparation of credit memos for presentation to lending officers and/or approval committees; performing research/analysis related to projects such as industry studies and management reports; portfolio management including covenant testing and handling loan renewals. The CA3 partners closely with Business Relationship Managers and Business Banking Managers throughout the underwriting process. Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of credit analysis experience Desired Qualifications: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 5+ years of commercial credit experience A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics Commercial underwriting experience Ability to review personal or business financial statements and tax returns (commercial and individual) Knowledge and understanding of cash flow lending Knowledge and understanding of loan portfolio management.
