Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Responsibilities Serve as the senior SharePoint developer/web designer at DOJ JMD developing out-of-the-box solutions utilizing InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, out-of-the-box web-parts, CSS, Javascript, and workflows built in SharePoint. Participate in requirements gathering sessions with customers and work through the SharePoint SDLC process to elicit user requirements, design, test, integrate, deploy, and provide out-of-the-box solutions to complex processes. Design Master page template and create multiple dashboard(s) within SharePoint mainly using CSS and Javascript. Automate DOJ JMD processes by leveraging SharePoint out-of-the-box. Provide recommendations to customers on how to utilize SharePoint to solve complex business problems and how to maximize automation through SharePoint. Provide training to end-users in classroom setting, online, as well as one-one-one. Work with the SharePoint team and the Senior SharePoint developer to troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues in a timely fashion. Required Skills 3-5 years of technical experience with SharePoint 2013 with responsibilities for all aspects of software development lifecycle including eliciting user requirements, testing, and technical and user documentation; and leveraging out-of-the-box SharePoint 2013 features and SharePoint Designer and vetted code, as required, to create, build, and deploy successful business solutions that solve complex problems. Significant and varied work accomplishments in the last 2-3 years, including deploying of organization-wide and high visibility SharePoint business solutions used by diverse customers and managing simultaneous multiple projects. At least 1-2 years of experience in developing complex solutions for SharePoint 2013. At least 2 years of experience in web design using CSS, Javascript, and OOB SharePoint features. At least 1-2 years of SharePoint knowledge transfer experience in informal and formal settings, including classroom, small groups, and one-on-one. Proactive and professional customer relation skills. Professional certifications in SharePoint 2013 and/or SharePoint Online. Engagement in professional development, as shown by intensive or occasional training. Preferred Skills Experience with Javascript. Degree Required/Equivalent Experience w/o degree Bachelor Degree and 5-7 years of related experience Or Masters Degree and 3-5 years of related experience Certification Requirements SharePoint 2013 and/or SharePoint Online Certifications.
