Field Engineer

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Assist Project Manager, Project Superintendent and Project Engineer as required. Perform field engineering and design of temporary structures including formwork, falsework, or other types of structures as needed. Assist with project layout. Assist with all schedule preparations & updates, identify critical work items, prepare long-lead items. Assist with monthly billings, cashflow projections, and processing change orders. Assist with quantity reporting, project costing & forecasting. Requisition equipment and material deliveries as required. Communication and relationship building with owners. Resolve field problems and conflicts, liaise with subcontractors, suppliers & workforce on field details. Manage document control including submittal schedules, contract documents, shop drawings, etc. Assist with project closeout. Qualifications: The successful candidate must have an interest in a career in Construction Management A Bachelor s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or an Engineering discipline is required. 1-2 years previous construction experience is preferred. Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Project. BIM 360/Revit knowledge is a plus. A valid Driver s License is required. Willingness to travel (as needed basis). Candidates must be willing to relocate to project locations.
