Job Responsibilities and Requirements: In this role, the qualified candidate manages the demand management process by facilitating the initial engagement of demand requests, prioritization and business requirement documentation. This role will drive the successful introduction of new API based products /services, and enable continual operational service improvement. To support the Business API Owner, the role will build/report the statistics and trends to forecast growth of the APIs. The role will also perform project management and coordination activities, build and/or review customer-facing communications, and drive the overall delivery of APIs. This individual will combine knowledge of business, with knowledge of how APIs are built and enabled. They should have experience developing business requirements through defining user stories, use cases, and specifying non-functional requirements. They should have experience in managing projects that are delivered using Agile methodology. This role will require experience in identifying opportunities to improve the product by driving enhancements that improve overall delivery and adoption through training, communications and/or automation. As new APIs are being built, this role will be pivotal in preparing for the successful launch and adoption of the APIs by ensuring transition from delivery to operations. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience managing customer-facing services 7 years experience with Customer interactions and delivering Customer focused engagements Strong understanding of APIs including 3 to 5 experience managing projects that delivered APIs 5 years experience in managing the delivery of projects using Agile methodology Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to be highly effective with both internal and external contacts Demonstrated experience with writing business requirements and process documentation Strong analytical and writing skills, including experience in functional and technical specifications Proven vendor management skills Strong Project Management skills Good Problem solving abilities, capable of objectively reviewing and understanding issues, and tenacious in seeking quick, creative solutions Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently with minimal management supervision. Ability to adjust to changing priorities while multitasking effectively. Good facilitation and presentation skills Proficient with Microsoft products-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project Office Candidate should be able to work alone and with a team to meet target dates. Must be autonomous and comfortable with a constantly changing environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Banking Industry Experience with writing API specifications using Swagger or RAML Project Management Certifications (e.g. PMP).
