Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and ten years of field inspection experience. A valid drivers license and TxDOT Concrete and Density testing certification are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project), and Construction Management software (Bentley ProjectWise, Construction Manager FieldBook) is required. You must be self-motivated and able to work well with others. Typical responsibilities include: Responsible for overall performance of Texas Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Projects Track monthly workload to coordinate construction staffing needs with the Texas senior staff Mentor inspectors, record keepers, construction administrators and project managers Assume project manager assignments when requested or needed Accountable for project teams including sub-consultants Effectively coordinate project activities with the Texas senior staff Assist Project Managers in accounts receivables and invoicing Coordinate training/seminars and professional memberships with Texas senior staff Timesheet and expense report approval for Texas inspection staff Accountable for consistent technical project approach across Texas Transportation and Construction market segments Ensure staff has appropriate certifications and training Support Texas senior staff with inspection staffing decisions Manage Texas construction staff including project administration and inspectors Coordinate all testing subsurface utility engineering, survey and specialty subcontractors for projects Responsible for client development and satisfaction Review RFPs and assist in the go/no decision process Support Texas senior staff with proposal preparation including the development of scope, budget and scheduling Solicit input from Practice Leads on specialty services and products Responsible for identifying new client potential and initiating contact Build and develop the best in class project construction teams Maintain excellent client relations Maintain a safe working environment Wade Trim is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
