Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Vice President of Sales is responsible for achieving sales results and driving innovative and integrated sales initiatives pertaining to the Microsoft PracticeLead and develop the sales team to deliver exceptional and profitable sales growth and results Work directly with Microsoft partner on nationwide opportunties Understand and translate the company business goals into business opportunity analysis, pre- and post-sale services and solution sellingHelp launch new product and service offerings Develop strong ties with key customers and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market Provide executive management with pipeline, forecast and results Assist in complex sales negotiations, attend sales presentations and help close dealsEnhance and enforce standard sales processes, policies and procedures You Would Be Great For This Position If You Have: BA degree required (MBA preferred) 7 years of business development and sales leadership experience 7 years of successful sales management experienceExperience in consultative sales required Sales expert. Proven ability to drive sales opportunities and close deals Knowledge and experience speaking intelligently about IT solutionsThe ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Project Management, Engineering and Marketing Enthusiastic and able to operate productively in a highly dynamic environment; able to maintain calm and perspective in the face of challenge Ability to act with customers in mind; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers, earning their trust and respect Ability to lead by example, creating a vision for the future and inspiring team members to work together towards that visionHighly effective time management skills with the ability to balance time-sensitive critical tasks with long term important priorities.
