Job Responsibilities and Requirements: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage Reports for Finance Department Manage and Maintain Report Book/Directory that allows users to find the correct report for their needs. Create new reports using existing or new tools for Finance Department.Train users on new reports, document report and add to the Report Book/Directory. Assist with the upgrade of reports from current tools to new tools.This includes Crystal Reports to Business Objects/WEBI, and Tableau Dashboards, etc. Work with Technology Services on the Universes for Business Objects based on the Finance Department needs. Ensure Data Integrity With Elite end users and managers, work strategically to create scripts/E-lerts to ensure data integrity and identify causes for data integrity issues. Regularly review the scripts for improvement and create new scripts where appropriate. Create service partnerships with Technology Services to develop and run maintenance programs, data integrity jobs, etc. Special Projects Assist Finance Project Manager with accounting related projects. Work closely with accounting managers and Technology Services to produce effective reporting solutions for end users. Assist in creating standard reports for Accounting. Work with requestors to identify their short-term and long-term reporting needs. Make recommendations to enhance established reports. Based on past requests and the strategic goals of the firm, proactively create new reports to assist management in analyzing the Elite data. Assist in creating analysis tools for Financial Operations. Interview accounting team members to find out what information is necessary to help them analyze information quicker and more efficiently. Assist with requests and projects related to Tableau Dashboards Client Service, Confidentiality, and Safety Consistently promote and model the Firm's Client Service Principles in leadership, teamwork, work product, and personal interaction. Ensure compliance with the Firm's Information Handling Policy, including safeguarding confidential and personal information, and reporting any suspected breach appropriately and immediately. Adhere to the Firm's General Safety Practices and any unique safety practices for department and building. OTHER DUTIES Function as backup to Financial Report Analyst and Finance Apps Manager. Other duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience A minimum of 1 year experience building Tableau Dashboards essential Three to five years Crystal Reports experience and three to five years of Database Analysis and SQL syntax experience. Elite experience preferred. Degree in accounting or business preferred.
