Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties: Manage Office Engineers and Inspectors. Coordinate engineering activities with change order staff, quality staff and discipline leads for Communications, Track, Traction Power and signals on infrastructure rail engineering project. Follow-up with contractors foreman for progress and issues resolutions. Attend coordination Meetings with contractors foreman and station Construction Managers. Conduct inspection on as needed basis. Coordinate design issues and required changes. Update Construction Manager on high priority/urgent issues. Act as liaison with Construction Managers to track work progress, provide update on forthcoming systems work and schedules that affects station work completion. Review Critical Path Method schedules for accuracy and work progress. Review contractor s 6 week look-ahead schedules. Participate in meetings with NYC Transit Authority to provide update on work progress/completion. Job Requirements Requirements: Masters degree in Construction Engineering Management required, with graduate-level coursework in Construction Cost Accounting & Control, Construction Methods & Cost Estimating, Construction Engineering and Management, Construction Contract Administration and Construction Plan Scheduling.
