Job Responsibilities and Requirements: We have an immediate opening in our Alexandria or New York office for a patent associate with a degree in the pharmaceutical or chemical arts. Ph.D. strongly preferred. Candidates must have litigation experience, with ANDA proceedings and clerkship experience preferred. Familiarity with patent prosecution for pharmaceuticals is useful but not required. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, researching and drafting litigation documents, post-grant review documents and opinion letters, as well as patent portfolio analysis. Associate candidates must be admitted in New York or Virginia, with registration to practice before the USPTO preferred.
