Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Role Summary: We are looking for an Information Security Senior Manager to work with teams comprised of Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, User Interaction Design Engineers, Infrastructure/Platform team, and the Product Owners to help lead the technical insight and industry perspective in the creation, delivery, and integration of complex and comprehensive security solutions. You will be a security evangelist with multi-facet responsibilities. Essential Responsibilities: In the role of you will: Drive tailored SDL practice into specific engineering Consult architect on security requirements and utilize best practices to meet them Engage in application and domain-specific threat modeling and attack surface analysis/reduction Work with all scrum teams for security-focused design Identify and ensuring resolution of possible security implications of each release Maintain an inventory of security-related tools that will improve the maintainability and security of our code and the pace of development Help prepare reports at appropriate levels of confidentiality for stakeholders to view Respond to customer-facing departments about Predix security posture Respond promptly and in detail to customer-sponsored penetration tests Promote standards through workshops, knowledge shares, and code walk-throughs Provide guidance on automated testing tools and techniques Securely on-board external developer applications and third party services as part of the overall Predix ecosystem Develop processes and drive infrastructure for achieving compliance required in the Oil & Gas industry Participate in technical sessions with customers and provide architectural solutions for security Assist in developing security standards framework for securing the production infrastructure against cyber-attacks Interface with customers, with customer facing teams, provide and review support in sales and presales activities; securely enable customer on-boarding into BHGED platform, define and enable security program, develop and implement continuous security monitoring, manage compliance activities and help support certification to ISO 27001 standard Provide thought leadership & help guide developers in secure coding practices and provide knowledge of the edge devices in the Oil and Gas industry Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) from an accredited college or university ( Or High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution with a minimum of 14 years of equivalent experience in security development life cycle) Minimum 10 years of experience in security development life cycle Minimum 8 years of experience involvement with development team(s) that delivered software based serviceEligibility Requirements: Travel 15% of the time as required Willing to work out of San Ramon, Ca. or Dallas, Tx Desired Characteristics: Knowledge of secure architecture practices Understanding and experience in implementing continuous security monitoring Experience in security compliance, gap assessment and security compliance management Knowledge of Identity management and identity federation (SAML, Oauth, SCIM, XACML) Must be available for on call for potential security response Knowledge of application risk identification and evaluation techniques Knowledge of Cyber Security and full knowledge of multiple related engineering functions Experience securing applications within cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and alike. Experience with broad set of information security technologies and processes within a SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, or cloud environment Hands-on experience with analyzing threat reports, vulnerability reports and drive towards implementing them Experience securing applications against various layers of vulnerabilities Working knowledge of Evaluate different products in security space and recommend and implement most optimal solutions Good understanding of Security of Edge Devices and Communication Protocols used for these devices Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and principles Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools (Chef, Git, Jenkins) Effective teaming and problem solving abilities Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Able to interface effectively and influence all levels of the organization and external customers Strong presence in external security communities Strong business analysis and problem solving skills Evaluates products & processes to assure compliance. Measures the impact of trends (cyclical or a shift) and takes action relative to product value position and overall strategy Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other businesses Ability to interact and present to customers Ability to work with cross-functional teams to help build effective processes Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team Articulates the story, uses two way communication and influences outcomes and ongoing results Strong oral and written communication skills including executive level presentation skills Effectively directs and mentors others in critical thinking skills Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analytical skills and best practices Influences and energizes others toward the common vision and goal.
